2000 Mazda RX-7 Series 8 (Version VI) Up for sale is my pride and joy Series 8 (Version VI) Mazda FD RX-7 in desirable ‘NU Red’. This JDM Hero not only offers a fun experience but also demands attention and turns heads when it’s on the road. It is arguably the nicest looking car from its era and this example is now up for sale. Imported in 2022, I am the second owner in Australia and in my mature ownership this example has been meticulously looked after and has undergone a ‘mini restoration’ including: • Professional Open Door Respray (all parts painted except for engine bay) • New OEM Mazda Front Bumper, Rear Bumper & OEM Bumper Brackets (previously had C-West body kit, can be supplied with sale) • Full Paint Correction • Interior Stripped and Detailed (no missing interior parts, which is not very common in the FD world) From a mechanical perspective, this example has been properly taken care of with no expense spared with the following works also having been completed: • HALTECH Elite 2500 ECU • $9K+ 13B Rebuild by Joe Signorelli at Rotor Master ~3,500 Kms Ago in November 23 (Mild Street port – OEM Drivability, unbreakable APEX seals etc.) • ‘Rats Nets Delete’ (OEM Vacuum/Boost – prone to fail) now all controlled by the Haltech • Upgraded Aluminium Radiator with Thermo Fan Controls • DEFI Gauges – Oil Temp, Water Temp & Boost Pressure (relocated to glove box for cleaner look) • Still running factory twin turbo set-up, nothing crazy which will strain the motor. It also features some tasteful modifications, some factory and some aftermarket including but not limited to: • ‘White Dial’ FD RX7 Series 8 Version VI Tachometer (factory fitted) • Genuine ‘Flying M’ NARDI steering wheel (factory) • Genuine BRIDE CUGA Carbon Fibre Back Seats • Genuine 18 inch Rays Volk Racing GT-V 2 Piece Wheels • HKS Height Adjustable Coil-overs • Aftermarket exhaust (appears to be Titanium) • HKS Racing Suction Air Intake System (OEM Setup Available) This example has also had a full service and all the preventative maintenance completed including but not limited to the following: • Brand New OEM AST Bottle (prone to fail on FDs) • R MAGIC JAPAN RACING Gearbox Oil (supplied by Marcus Read) • Brand New Fuel Filter • Brand New NGK Spark Plugs • 15-40W Castrol Mineral Oil • Genuine Mazda Engine Oil Filter I also have the Japanese car history check, verifying the spec and kilometres and other data. Prefer cash sale however I will entertain trades of M2, M3, M4, Evo 8/9 or similar with cash adjustment either way.
