At The Enthusiast, We believe that supporting men’s mental health is just as important as supporting their journey on the road. While we specialize in helping people buy and sell quality vehicles, We are committed to creating a platform that goes beyond cars. Our mission is to raise awareness about men’s mental well-being, Provide resources, And foster a community where open conversations can thrive. Through partnerships, donations to mental health initiatives, and offering a space for men to connect and share their experiences, We aim to drive change both on the road and in life. Every vehicle purchased is a step toward finding the right car and supporting mental wellness for men everywhere.
Apart from this nation’s struggle with men’s mental health, we also acknowledge the struggles our women have to go through. So we are committed to significantly impacting the fight against breast cancer, Helping raise awareness, and contributing to research efforts. By partnering with breast cancer organizations and donating a percentage of our profits, We aim to support women everywhere in their journey to healing.
Alongside these initiatives, We are passionate about strengthening the car community by connecting enthusiasts, supporting local car clubs, And creating a welcoming space for all, We believe that whether it’s mental health, Cancer awareness, or the love and passion of cars, every listing created from our platform contributes to a larger movement of positive change, Helping to improve lives in multiple ways. Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation
“We raise funds in order to directly support the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service and the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service, which care for nearly 285,000 people from Tully to the Torres Strait.
Our goal is to improve the quality and accessibility of health care in our region for everyone. In other words, we want all Far North Queenslanders – from mums and bubs to veterans and everybody in between – to enjoy a full range of quality health care services close to home.
This includes vital services such as women’s health and mental well-being, to cardiac, paediatrics, cancer care, and more.
We’ve been strong since 1997, and in that time, We’ve contributed more than 27 million to improving health car in Far north queensland.
The funding goes towards vital equipment, modern facilities, support services and providing grants to advance the skills and knowledge of our dedicated doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals.”
Mareeba Animal Foundation
“We take in stray, surrendered and abandoned dogs and cats from a wide area across Far North Queensland. All the animals get the best of veterinary and general care. All are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and tick and flea treated before they are rehomed. Our running costs are around $250,000 a year, all of which is dependent on charity alone. We get no government funding. We differ from most of the other rescue groups who do not have a refuge and foster their animals out in many ways. We must employ staff. We have insurance, work cover, electricity and telephone bills. We are audited yearly and provide returns to the ACNC and Office of Fair Trading. Other rescue groups do not have these massive overheads. We are highly accountable and we provide our animals with the best of everything. When rehoming our animals we take a significant loss at each sale, just so that we can rehome as many animals as possible. All this costs us a lot of money and any donation is appreciated”
